Cooling Can a Noctua NF-A12x15 slim 120mm fan fit on top of the Noctua NH-L9a-AM4?

Already have a Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 fan and was wondering if I could fit another small 120mm fan on top of it or if I would have to buy another CPU fan to have a fan for the 120mm bracket like you can do with the Zalman and Scythe fan combo.

Yup! As long as it's not too noisy and doesn't draw tons of power so the motherboard stays cool

I'm just not sure doubling fans will work the way you think it will. I'd personally just take both fans off and grab one of Noctua's new Sterox 120mm PWM fans if you have the headroom for two 15mm fans.

Oh. I just saw the NFC YouTube video and saw the Zalman and 120mm scythe combo and it worked exceptionally well. Would using noctua new fan be enough in the skyslot bracket be enough to cool the CPU without the NH-L9A-AM4 fan?

Nevermind. Just looked up that it can cool the CPU too. I'll ditch the L9A-AM4 and use the newest one you suggested. Thanks!
