I'm interested in building a battery-powered VR-capable rig that could be worn in a backpack configuration. If you're familiar with HP's OMEN X or HP Z backpacks, that's more or less what I'm after. Is it possible to mod something like an Intel NUC with an external GPU and the battery power to run it (without using a 20 pound battery brick ?). I intend to build a custom enclosure and a custom backpack rig—but I figure the component hardware choices will inform those designs. Thank you for your input!
