One question, though: not happy with temps, since after couple of Cinebench R20 runs, they soared to 94 degrees Celsius. Since, I'm using Wraith Stealth stock cooler, do you happen to have any suggestion what to do in order to get the temps down, at least a bit.

Thanks!

Try taking the side panel off to see if temps get better. Maybe even turning the fan around to have it set as intake instead of exhaust.

Those temps with a 3600 I'd think you incorrectly seated your cooler. I'd remove the cooler and redo the thermal paste.

Test the side panel off and also try switching the fan from push to pull or Visa versa. Also the cpu fan. Also noticed the case is almost sealed up. Taking off the side see through panel, or putting in washers to gap it from the metal panel so air can escape/get in might help as well.

Thanks Poblopuablo & bhk1004 for suggestions! ?

Improvement: put hard drive on bottom of the case and switched Wraith Stealth for Noctua NH-L9a AM4.

With side panel still on, I ran 5 consecutive times Cinebench R20 and got only small improvemt - 93 degrees Celsius (1 degree Celsius improvement).

So, off to taking the glass window off...

If glass off works to keep temps in check, just get some spacers, and gap the glass to get some airflow. Wont be the best but will definitely help. Definitely an air flow issue if you are hitting over 90 with l9 on a 3600.

Good luck!

Again, maybe turning the fan around to set it as intake would help. I know the RGB won't look as nice, but it should help. Thankfully that case allows for larger coolers too, so maybe in the near future you can upgrade to something a littler more robust. :) Best of luck! Happy Easter!

Let us know what does and doesn't help, so we can further assist in any way we can. :)

That is what I would do, you can fit 120mm tower coolers or 120mm AIO and will give you much better cooling.

Will it even matter if there is no air circulating? Atm he needs to fix his air issue. He doesnt need to really touch his cooler cause in the end no matter the cooler hes going to have the same issue if the air is just boiling inside the case.

Whether its opening the side or flipping the fan, that needs to be corrected. His current cooler shouldnt be hitting even over 80 on a 3600.

You are right, one of the biggest problems with the Metis is terrible airflow design. I used to have a Metis classic which didn't have the top 120mm fan but did have ventilation on the side panel so at least there was a source or cool air. The way it is designed now you are only getting air intake at the top which just pushes the GPU exhaust down to the CPU. I would try switching side panels and see if the ventilation helps.

Thanks guys, for helping me out. Really, appreciate it. :):thumb:

Back to the case: I have expected lower temps, when taking the glass panel off, but...Now it's still scorching 92 degrees Celsius, after 5 consecutive CB R20 runs.
I guess, no more reports on this case, until I throw in an 120mm tower cooler.

Talk to you again. Keep safe and wish you Happy Easter!!!
