Like the title says I am helping my brother in law build a pc for using Sketchup and other programs for landscape design. I have posted in the Sketchup forums as well, but I thought I might have luck here as well. I currently have a 3600, 32gb of ram, and a 1660 picked out for him. He is coming from laptops, so the performance will already be a big jump. I've read that single core performance is better in Sketchup, I don't think he will notice the difference that much between a 3600 and a 9700 for example. Would it be worth it to jump up to an RTX card at all? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
