ITX motherboards in that article as well, can't say I'm a fan (pun intended) of fans being back on the chipset / SSD cover. Gen 5 SSD's run hot so I guess they have to deal with that somehow !!!

IT does not matter if you place the CPU in the socket or not - just update as first action.
Note that the Asrock board cannot be updatet beforehand - still it should not matter as the default values without EXPO are safe anyway.
