Just wondering if any exist with the psu (sfx) on the side in the back with vertical full hieght slots

I’m pretty sure you can’t get a smaller case than the Pure XL that takes full height graphics cards without going to some kind of riser like the Velkase 3 or 5.

Note the Velkase 3 would alsonecessitate moving to a smaller power supply as well.

The Element Q is 9.4L, compared to 6.5L for the Pure XL.

There are some old Lian Li cases that would work:

PC-Q21B

PC-TU100

Good luck finding them though.... the need for a slim ODD will be tough, as most modern cases have ditched that.

I love the V3 fron Velkase, but sadly I have a sfx psu & a slim ODD, any sandwich style case that will take a slim ODD & olaces the psu on the back side like the V3?

How about a CCD MI-6 or an ZS A4L and an external USB enclosure to put the optical drive in? Then it can just rest on top of the case.
