8700K to an 8700T

Humm.. I have used both the i7-6700T and the i7-7700T with good results. So I have ordered a i7-8700T just now with the intent of another SFF system.

Most resellers are asking more then the Intel suggested price... However I found them in stock at Provantage at below Intel's suggested price,.

I ran my 8700 non-k at 3.6GHZ max turbo. When combined with an 1070 it didn't loose that much performance from 4.3GHZ. You can also tinker with the voltage and wattage usage of your CPU in most BIOS. You could get an 8700K and basically set it to similar performance of the 8700T. It won't be exactly apple to apples, but it gives you options.
