40mm fan, or 50mm fan?

I'm in need of experience and advice.

My head tells me that a 50mm fan can be quieter and push more air than a 40mm one. The problem is, these are tiny fans we are talking about. Noctua does make good 40mm fans that I have experience with, but I am wondering if there are good 50mm fans that would be overall better than a 40mm Noctua? Anyone use the 50mm fans from Fractal or Noiseblocker?

These are the only two choices.

I made this post before I had a chance to ask you about the noiseblocker, but your endorsement has me going that route I think.
