Thanks for posting. I have a couple of questions if you don’t mind:
  • why did you remove the purple shroud? Was that necessary to get the lid to close or was it for heat dissipation?
  • What are your GPU temps like with the case closed when you run a game or benchmark?

Hi, i bought a used lenovo q720m with a 6-core 8400T for 120 euro. Than ordered 1 Slot 3050 lp form yeston in (209 $ with shipping). And i have an ez cheep gaming pc :) in 1 L case.

Nice! Are you happy with the Yeston? Did you have to pay German import Tax?

PS: I'd drill/cut some holes in the lid of the case to let the GPU breath a little bit ;)

probably wait for Op to answer, but Yeston does say on their site when you fill out the delivery details whether those costs are covered. For me here in the Netherlands Yeston states that they are covered, which makes this one of the cheapest 3050 6gb on the market (also they have a $10 sale going on now). I sound like a shill so just want you to know that I am not affiliated with the company in any way.

There are some ‘grey’ import routes between China and Europe that avoid VAT altogether. Eg. Superbuy often uses them, Yeston probably does too. Belgium actually receives a massive fine from Europe a couple of weeks ago because of this, but it didn’t seem to change anything yet. Customs are just overwhelmed by the amount of parcels coming in from China.
