I tried to Mod my RX 6400 the Same like @REVOCCASES did , but with a Copper heatsink and 2 Noctua A6x25 Fans from N3rdware.com
The eGPU Thunderbolt Dock is the TH3P4 lite from EXP GDC (you can buy it at AliExpress) it only has an PCIe Socket, so your GPU´s TDP has to be under 75W
which is perfect for the rx6400 which has 53W TDP.
The Case was designed by me in Autodesk Fusion
The result was about 15 to 20 degree Celcius less Temperature in Games:
I tried 3D Mark´s TimeSpy and had the following Temps:
With Stock Cooler (RX 6400 Low Profile XFX)
And after Copper Modding it (with both Fans)
"KalmX AMD Edition" - RADEON RX 6400 Passive Cooling Mod
someone on Reddit asked me if I could do something similar like my RTX A2000 Passive Cooling Mod but for AMD... now what could be better suited for a fanless AMD GPU than the very efficient RX6400, delivering GTX 1650 performance at a TBP of just 53W... that said, I can't quite understand why no...
