    Pinout for Dell 220w brick?

Thank you ! I had ASSUMED the spec was much tighter, like 11.9V-12.1V. I was seriously contemplating remaking my adapter (nicely solder and covered in shrink tubing).

    Pinout for Dell 220w brick?

I apologize for resurrecting this old thread, but my question is relevant to the DA-2. Forget the pin out, I am into surgery ! Once you cut off the connector I know these thing for certain The 3 white wires are +12V DC Th 3 black wires are Ground The blue wire is remote On/Off. Shorting to...

CPU Need 12V 200W minimum power brick

Yep ! I used these beef boys from Amazon DC5521 Power Pigtails Cable,14AWG - $7.19 I agree 100% ! The problem is the PicoPSU comes with a female DC5521 barrel jack and the MITXPC MX500-USB3 Mini-ITX Case comes with a pre-punched hole for a barrel jack. I decide to "go with the flow" ...

CPU My review of MITXPC MX500-USB3 case

Better. The Noctua NH-L9a is very quiet (as expected with all Noctua products). You can hear it when it speeds up even a little. IMHO, there is plenty of holes for adequate air flow.

CPU My review of MITXPC MX500-USB3 case

I am not a gamer, so I have not "stress tested" the CPU/fan. (I really wanted a 8300G but they are limited to OEM only until late this year.) No problems, so far ! Almost never get off of the lowest setting. I do currently have the disk drives and bracket sitting directly over the top of the...

CPU My review of MITXPC MX500-USB3 case

I have a couple of other threads related to this build (mostly frustrations) if you want to look them up. First, I can not say enough GOOD THINGS this case ! Simple. Clean. Well built. Exactly what I wanted. It is meant to be a fanless case, but the Noctua NH-L9a-AM5 fits perfectly. Also...

CPU Need 12V 200W minimum power brick

Yep ! The Dell DA-2 is the answer !! 12V @ 18A = 216W As for the connector, I performed surgery. 3 white wires (+12VDC), 3 back wires (Ground), red (remote voltage sense, not required) and blue (connect to ground to turn on). Luckily, I found a DC5521 (5.5mm OD, 2.1 pin) barrel connector on...

Motherboard BUYER BEWARE ! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ASROCK !!!

I purchased an ASRock B650I Lightning mITX mother board in December of 2023 knowing that the AMD 8000 chips would ship in 2024. Well they did not start shipping until February 2024. So when I got my CPU chip, I quickly assembled the system and it would not POST. No case speaker was included...

    Discussion New build, no POST

According to ASRock there is supposed to be a sticker on top of the BIOS Flash, but there is no sticker on any chip on the board, so I don't know what version the BIOS is. ASRock list no updated for that motherboard. Left it powered up for over an hour.

Not my first rodeo. I have probably built/upgraded a dozen or more PCs in the past 20 years (Biggest change is NVME SSD.) MITXPC MX500-USB3 Mini-ITX USB 3.0 Case Mini-Box picoPSU-160-XT Power Supply Noctua NH-L9a-AM5 Low-Profile CPU Cooler ASRock B650I LIGHTNING AM5 B650 Mini-ITX AMD 8700G...

    Bummer ! No 8300G/8500G !!

Collecting parts for a mITX build. Recently found out that the 8300G/8500G will be OEM ONLY for the foreseeable future. 8600G/8700G is really way more than I need.
