Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

No, The Mjolnir is not listed as a standard case. You can enter it as a "Custom" part. I stand by my recommendation that it is easier to share parts lists using PCPartPicker than it would be to "start an public excel sheet to share what parts you use with this case." If you search "Completed...

Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

Some folks have listed their build parts in this thread. I've tried to put together a list of 120mm AIOs that might fit Mjolnir: 120mm AIOs for Mjolnir This is only based on manufacturer's listed sizes (and a couple of confirmed builds). What AIO is compatible with your setup will also depend...

Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

Folks have discussed it, but I haven't seen an actual build with one. You would have to get creative with mounting the HDPlex as it is 160mm long. This would be simpler in an air-cooled build than it would in a build with an AIO. But we've seen lots of creative SFF builds here, so (almost)...

A 240mm radiator must be no thicker than 23mm to fit underneath the motherboard in the Mjolnir. The ROG Ryujin II 240 radiator is listed as 27mm thick. In addition, the pump block on that AIO is too tall to fit in the case with the panels on. AIO Pump blocks must be no more than ~51-52mm tall.

Not possible in Mjolnir - it can only handle GPUs up to 51mm thick. Your only 3090 options are the EVGA XC3 or one of the 2-slot 3090 blower cards (which all seem to be discontinued).

And for those of us in the original KS order waiting for replacements for glass panels that arrived damaged?

The Asus ROG Strix 3080 cards are 58mm thick, and won't fit in the Mjolnir, which can handle cards up to 51mm.

Advice First build - MJOLNIR case

Water cooling is limited to 120mm AIO. There is a spreadsheet of 120mm AIOs for Mjolnir. Several folks have used the Corsair H60/H60i coolers. Be sure that the pump block height is < 51mm. Avoid any coolers where the tubes exit vertically (perpendicular to the motherboard) such as the Arctic...

I'm having a hard time imagining how in blazes🔥 you intend to cool an i9 12900k inside a Mjolnir. Reviews show massive power consumption and high cooling requirements for the chip. I don't see how a 120mm AIO could cool the i9 without massively lowering the PL2 power limit, and giving up much of...

Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

Initial reviews today show the 12600K to be significantly better in performance compared to the 5600x for only $10 more, and even outperforming the 5800x in some tests. I haven't see any detailed reviews of Alder Lake in SFF builds but it looks like the i5 12600K would be fine on a 120mm AIO...

Almost exactly four years since the first post (Oct 14, 2017) announcing the Mjolnir (and Thor eGPU case). Congrats on seeing it through Kickstarter and production during a global pandemic.

I ordered both a Dark and a Steel case. The Shield of Founders that came with my Dark case appears to be fine - no visible chips, but I haven't inspected the panel closely for jagged edges. The glass panel on the Steel case however shows the exact same damage as @For_Science and you mentioned...

I received my steel case this week. The case appears fine, just the front panel rattles slightly. However, my Shield of Founders glass panel arrived with glass fragments in the plastic bag and some chipping along the edge of the panel. Corner 1: Corner 2: Glass shards in plastic bag: The...

I'm in the USA. I backed Kickstarter for a Dark and Steel case, so I'm assuming this one is the Dark case.
