2 Radiators in Ncase M1 - Liquid Cooling

For AIO, something with vertical hoses on the CPU block like the Corsair H100i v2 Extreme (or EVGA CLC) is the best fit and less risk/hassle. For full custom loop, Swiftech Apogee Drive 2 :)

2 Radiators in Ncase M1 - Liquid Cooling

The XSPC ultra slim radiator is the best option for the bottom rad - you'll want the extra 3-4mm for airflow, even using 15mm low profile fans. And I believe EK and HeatKiller are the slimmest options for GPU waterblocks. The side rad has a bit more room but I'd still go no more than 30mm, with...

Razorback (NCASE M1 + AMD) Build log

Ok finally got round to it - apologies for poor picture quality. Step 1: Cut 2 of the recessed mounting screws right down to the phillips head (stop when you start to shave the black anodizing off) Step 1a: heavily chamfer one of the screw heads (as pictured - make sure you leave the step...

Razorback (NCASE M1 + AMD) Build log

Apogee mounting pics coming in the next week or so. Build is 50% complete and on hold since I can't get some parts, and not sure how finances will go with the human virus situation.

Razorback (NCASE M1 + AMD) Build log

Sorry for the late response on this, build is still only half finished - will post more pics soon! The trick with the waterblock is to angle both ports towards the RAM slots, and take an angle-grinder (or dremel) to the 2 CPU mounting screws under those ports. The screws' head is countersunk by...

Razorback (NCASE M1 + AMD) Build log

Step 2 - water loop design Brief Both CPU and GPU will be water cooled, with 2x 240mm radiators, 4x fans, external reservoir, integrated CPU block/pump, and the ability to remove any component without bleeding the system and worrying about spills. I'd like the ability to measure water...

Razorback (NCASE M1 + AMD) Build log

I'll be documenting my build log in this thread, mostly for people interested in NCASE M1 watercooling builds & component compatibility. [edit] Pictures in post #3 Step 1 - component selection: Brief The plan is to build a fully featured all AMD ITX build, with adequate cooling (temperatures...

Motherboard X570 ITX Motherboard Review Thread.

Thanks for that info! I'm tossing up between the Impact and ASRock boards, mostly because of likely clearance issues with the Impact in the Ncase M1. Great to hear about the better VRM cooling on ASRock, not so fussed on less USB but the lack of fan control is annoying - do you think this is...

    NCASE M1 V6 info

Pending further information from an actual motherboard owner, I have done a lot of measuring of my empty case and researching. This is what I'm working off so far: There is almost exactly 25mm from the bottom of the case to where the motherboard would end. I'm 95% sure you can fit the fans in...

    Questions about a build with a 3700X and 2070 SUPER on a 600W PSU [Ncase M1 V6]

Not sure if this helps but my rule of thumb is to add 50% to the final wattage in PCPartPicker, and spec your PSU around there (so you're fine). TDP/TBP is a bit of a bogus number at the moment so hardware reviews will give more accurate numbers under load.

    NCASE M1 V6 info

I'm pretty sure the front audio issue can be solved with a 90° connector for those who want to use 25mm fans (something like this https://www.technobotsonline.com/female-pcb-header-2x5-right-angle.html)

Motherboard X570 ITX Motherboard Review Thread.

If you went all out with a Ryzen 9 3950X then it's actually a much better deal than the ASRock X299E-ITX + i9 Extreme, but you're right if you just want a beefy SFF build. How much is bragging rights really worth?
