NCase M1 v6 Build (Crosshair Impact, STRIX 2070 Super, NH-C14S, stock Corsair cables)

I don't remember specifically what he told me, but recall that fitting the strix wasn't too bad. That's the stock 140mm NH-C14S fan in the picture.

NCase M1 v6 Build (Crosshair Impact, STRIX 2070 Super, NH-C14S, stock Corsair cables)

Yes. All the ports for the front are connected, including the usb C. It’s not a long distance from the front panel to either of the usb headers, so it’s more an issue of taking up the slack without creating too much tension. You can see the cables for the header in the picture. I think the...

Crosshair VIII Impact + M1 v6 = High Chipset temp

Might also be worth updating the chipset driver directly from AMD. This will give you the Ryzen power profiles that play better with windows 10 power management.

Crosshair VIII Impact + M1 v6 = High Chipset temp

Are you using a gen 4 nvme? I don’t think my chipset doesn’t get nearly that hot running gen 3. Sits in the 40’s or 50’s and I don’t hear the chipset fan. I have a slim noctua 92mm fan at the rear as intake and c14s in low profile mode exhausting out of the case.

    Build Advice (NCase M1 v6)

You'll be fine with the C14S. I have it on my build. I took off the manual overclock on my 3900X and turned on PBO and AOC in BIOS. Now I'm idling between 45-50. CPU hits 84 degrees at load on AIDA 64 just shy of 4GHz on average, but would probably boost higher with better cooling. I'm seeing...

NCase M1 v6 Build (Crosshair Impact, STRIX 2070 Super, NH-C14S, stock Corsair cables)

I get about 65mm from the top of the card to the edge of the frame. You'll lose a few mm because the bracket for the cooler is a little offset into the case.

Another M1 V6 build check - please help!

Hey, great to know that the strix will fit in there! It looks fantastic! How are the temps with that massive heatsink? The original build was with the gigabyte x570 board, ryzen 7, stock wraith cooler, reference video card and some extra fans at the bottom of the case. I decided on the Impact...

Another M1 V6 build check - please help!

Hey all. It's my first time building in an ncase m1. From what I've read on the forum, this might be a tight fit. I'm also a little worried about the thermals and wanted to hear opinions. I'm thinking of overclocking the ram to 3600 but keeping everything else pretty much stock. Pcpartpicker...
