Nice, somehow I missed the start of this thread, looks like the same lcd controller I got for my recycled laptop display. though I haven't found a use for it yet, its an old tn panel.
I dont know much about li-ion batteries and the charging circuitry, I'm hoping my brother can help me out with...
sorry I don't comment here very often. definitely a cool project, are you going to power a monitor off this as well?.
I recently extracted some cells from an old laptop
they've been sitting around for a few years but i don't think they were used much, I want to make a battery pack to power...
some motherboards don't support double-sided m.2 ssds, I have an ASRock b350 itx and this ssd
even without the heatsink bracket the chips on the underside would interfere with the smd's on the motherboard.
so you might want to check if the motherboard supports doublesided m.2drives.
sorry a bit...
@Tjo2012 there was this thread where dondan was testing heatsink samples from two different manufactures and one with 4 heatpipes from CoolJag was comparable to the one with 6 heatpipes from LianLi.
I'm looking forward to amd's announcement, if the leaks are true 16 cores on desktop would be cool, also new am4 mitx motherboards.
oh and the noctua c14 looks like the perfect cooler.:)
cool I look forward to seeing your progress. I'v just started making a 3d scanning turntable,
sofar I have a little oled screen with a basic text interface and an ir led to trigger the camera I'm just waiting on the motor driver board and some other stuff.
oops I just realized that doesnt work, if the render time for each device is added you get a worse score for having a gpu and every additional gpu. I feel like this calculation should be simple but i cant seem to figure it out.
we could use the new blender benchmark that runs the same benchmark on cpu and gpu and scales well with multiple cpus and gpus, then it could be (cpu time + gpu time)*volume, a lower score is better.
my pc doesn't sleep but f-stream starts when windows starts up, could it be a windows thing? because recently after a windows update half my software that usually loads at startup no longer loaded until i reinstalled it, though f-streams been working the whole time.
This is the same behavior I was seeing on my board, in HWMonitor it says 118°C and rarely changes, and then goes down when its under a heavy load. HWiNFO64 is supposed to be more accurate and I think it discards unreliable sensor readings so it doesn't show this sensor at all. My computer has...
I'm sorry to hear your having so much trouble, I'm seeing initial speeds of 700MBs(I don't think my old hdds can even write at that speed) then it drops to about 200-150MBs maybe less if its a bunch of small files, we have the same motherboard, cpu and raid configuration so I can't think whats...
