Concept IN 0 - An extreme pure vertical ITX case (Production almost complete)

A non-risered vertical case. Nicely done. If the case is effectively squaretubing with only cutouts on the back - a blower type gpu is a good idea. That or some means of chambering the GPU such that its exhaust doesn't mix with everything else. But since the flow is purely from the bottom...it...

What gpu is that? I'm loving the heatsink.

    Concept The ]M[-itx 2-in-1: 7.4 to 9.7 resize-able Case

I've been waiting for something like this. Essentially a square base, vertical tower type case. Can you incorporate the same cutouts as your other case project?

Prototype CoolerCase ...a case that cools...

Interesting. The calculator he quoted marked it as properly sized for ~160W with "some but quiet flow". I'd be curious to what extent and how directed it needs to be. Granted, I may have missed a possible assumption that a vapor chamber would be involved.

Prototype CoolerCase ...a case that cools...

This is a fantastic project :D On a different note - I was looking at the alpine passive cooler for the AM4... 99x99x70. I need to use your calculator to see if that'll cover a ryzen 5 1600 :D

Ohhhh that's great to hear. Still rough on getting them here though.

Cooling Looking for a CPU air cooler - vertical fins, AM4, ~80mm

Indeed - I saw a few reviews on youtube. Looks fantastic. The main question is that the heatsink is rated at ~35W no flow, and 47W with some* flow. It allegedly cools the 5 2400GE, but yeah, my case will specifically cause air to go through the heat sink area so it might be doable. Here's to...

Cooling Looking for a CPU air cooler - vertical fins, AM4, ~80mm

Gotchas. Yeah, I managed to find a C1 - and it's on its way. Going to see if the bottom case fans are enough to cool it without the CPU fan being used much or at all. Might set the CPU fan to be at 0% up to 60C or something and have it ramp up to 100% by 80C. We'll see how it pans out. If it...

Cooling Looking for a CPU air cooler - vertical fins, AM4, ~80mm

Well that just made things interesting. If I had no case fans, the 47W limit would be hit...but since I will have fans...this is 557g of heat sink. Interesting. Thankyou for that! What are you planning on using yours for? (CPU)

Cooling Looking for a CPU air cooler - vertical fins, AM4, ~80mm

Speaking of Cryorig being done...apparently the C1 is exactly what I'm looking for. Of...course. Now the search continues. 74mm tall. Clears 42mm ram. Nice heatsink weight where I COULD if I wanted to experiment with pseudo-passive setup.

Cryorig's done now. Even the regular ones are getting hard to find.

Cooling Looking for a CPU air cooler - vertical fins, AM4, ~80mm

The world's my oyster and I'm changing my build again. I currently have the m9a cooler, but it sits at 125mm. My wraith spire is 70mm and I'm 75% probably going that path unless... you guys can help me with another cooler. My next build is going to be setup like the Salvo Studios S402 (great...

Production Sliger SV590 and SV540 - Vertical SFF Cases!

It might seem like a whopper...but you also need to think of your desk space. There's *usually* nothing sitting on top of your case, so there's an abundance of vertical space. When comparing this case to another - in a practical sense - you'll want to look at footprint instead since that's...

Production Velka series cases for ultra compact and portable desktops

It's funny since no one is forcing anyone to buy case x, y, z. The case builder wants to sell cases, while valuing his own time and sets a price. If it's too high, no one will buy. If no one buys, then the builder will need to reassess. If people buy, then awesome! I agree, there doesn't really...
