Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

You're so looking forward to this build you remind me of myself a couple of years back with MJOLNIR. Hopefully this launch may be different, but the reality of reviews, followed by pre-orders opening, followed by pre-orders ending, and then finally production starting, and then shipping in...

Just to write back that I have also received the package today. I'm not sure what I expected for the replacement of the chipped glass panels, but I had a little chuckle when I unpackaged to find literally two panels of glass. So I had to go through the nerve-wracking process of carefully...

I just received tracking. Well done to Alex for keeping to the revised schedule. Looking forward to seeing the new parts!

Yes, the only thing that worries me is "2 weeks" has been a frequently re-occuring timeline that translated to essentially not-sure-exactly-but-hopefully-in-2-weeks. Let's hope at least for this last time it could actually be 2 weeks. In my industry we also have a "I'll be able to tell you more...

Wishing you the very best of luck. Also hope you've gotten better, I had some colleagues in gothenburg get a bad wave of covid recently too.

And on top of that, could you estimate realistically the time between sending it over to the freight forwarder and getting tracking numbers? I assume the FF has to process it, send it to the couriers, then give you the tracking numbers, you process them, and then send the numbers back to us. So...

Probing for another update. Has the factory given you any updates with regards to finishing packing? Have they even started?

I can see its a tough situation, you can't have produced packaging for every single part/quantity individually, but yet you don't want to just throw it into bubble wrap in case the replacement parts arrive smashed as well....Having said that I guess normally that's exactly what manufacturers do...

Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

Ive personally made my peace with the PCIe 4.0 riser fiasco, but just wanted to comment that while I accept the explanation and reasoning, that isnt the normal consumer expectation. If something you sold turned out subsequently to be out-of-spec, then normally a manufacturer should recall the...

You've been "preparing" the final shipment since mid-April, what is the outlook on this? How many steps are there until tracking numbers are issued to people?

So on February 4th, my understanding was there were "2 more" shipments and everything is done. Where the 2nd shipment would be the "final" shipment. On February 13th, the 2nd to last shipment was done, and so there was only the "final" shipment left over. On March the 2nd, it transpired that...
