Damn, I wanted something like that since HDPlex 250W came out and now I'm undecided because I'm not sure how GaN thermals will play along with that materials.

If you ever update SLM1 4L for Hdplex GaN 250W and half height 2-slot gpu, please make it have 48mm cpu clearance and 42, better 52mm gpu thickness...

But, what CPU to avoid bottlenecking the 3060ti? I have a 10600K and I think even undervolted it would probably be too hot.

I say go for Intel. I had a R3600 and 3600MHz RAM with 16CL with a Cryorig C1 and found it much too hot.

I would love it with 3 slot for the gpu or even open front. I am only not sure if the airflow from the cooler could heat up the gpu from behind. Maybe lateral (like lright-to-left) or front-to-back airflow would do better. Great idea however, I love big coolers on horizontal mainbords.

Fitting a 15mm Noctua fan instead of Scythe's 17mm would be a way too.
