Ah it seems there is no way to get a 240mm rad + slim fan with the 3m riser unless if the 20mm thick rad + scythe slim fan combo allows it.

Two questions: Can the ADT riser from the Dan A4 be used (I think it's a 30cm riser)? Can the 25cm 3M Riser work as those seem to be more readily available than the 30cm ones?

    FormD-T1 Vertical orientation base

Very interesting! It would be interesting to find out if a few 40mm fans is enough to draw the heat from blower GPUs away from the case.

    Asetek645LT higher temps than NH-l9i???

Make sure the fan headers you connect to (for fan and pump) both vary the PWM signal according to CPU temps in the bios, as by default on many ITX boards only one will respond to cpu and the other is system temp.

Wow that's awesome. Did you have to make any modificaitons to make it all fit? It looks like one H55 and one H60! What screws did you use to mount the radiator fans, or are you using zip ties or double sided tape? Does the H60 with the slim fan keep the 3900x's temps in check?

Prototype FormD-P1 (Sidearmd) 280/240AIO Support Case

I've seen the video. 80f is not hot... The ambient temps in my room with AC on would be around that...outside temps can reach 40-45C (104-113F) in summer. In summer my open air card was just as loud and hot as the blower (rx5700xt + 3700x with 92mm aio in dan A4)... with CPU at 10C higher...

Prototype FormD-P1 (Sidearmd) 280/240AIO Support Case

I'm more concerned about CPU temps than GPU temps...as my current case (dan A4) has limited CPU cooling capabilities and I live in a hot sub tropical climate. Which is why I have a blower style GPU...because with a less powerful open air GPU my cpu temps suffered worse.

In the vertical layout, is it recommended to have a non-blower style GPU?

    DAN C4-SFX - Update 14.05.2020

Well there has to be a limit of where people stop, I don't think the 6mm in height will be enough of a difference. But people might keep pushing for more and more...then you just get an M1 with different panels. Fully agree, the A4 looks great and sleek. The current C4 seems to be a step...

Yes, it is quite easy to change, I have a DanA4, but other users may not be aware of the issues with navi cards, x570 (and soon to be B550) mother boards and 3rd gen risers.

    DAN C4-SFX - Update 14.05.2020

Yep that's why it makes business sense to make it taller. Yep...doesn't even need to be a sandwich...no riser cable = one less thing to possibly fail.

Hopefully no one else has asked this question, but is there a pcie 4.0 compatible riser that will work with this case? I know nothing really takes advantage of it, but at least on the gigabyte x570 board if you run a Navi card with a riser you need to set the pcie slot to 3.0 instead of auto to...

No idea how I didn't see this thread before. But the vertical case looks amazing, this really good for minimising footprint on a desk

    DAN C4-SFX - Update 14.05.2020

As a current A4 owner with a 92mm aio...I would love to move into something like this for better CPU cooling. Although I would prefer it to be as compact as possible, the extra 6 mm may make the case more attractive to some buyers. But I would love a smaller option that just takes the A4 and...

Concept Hight perfomance 10l ITX-case(240mm rad, 4x fans, full size gpu)

Great looking case, would it be possibel to flip the case upside down so the radiator is at the top for more airflow?
