Hehe, thanks @AlexTzone. I actually have been approached by the Apple recruitment team in the past, but didn't have enough industry experience at the time to proceed to the next stage.

There's an old compatibility spreadsheet for MKI here. It doesn't focus on rads for custom loops, but it does give dimensional tips. Hasn't been updated in a while though. CPRO MKI doesn't have great radiator compatibility. MKII was designed to address this.

Concept Circle CORE - 280mm rad, 3-slot GPU, 78mm CPU height, mesh panels, 13.7L ITX

Injection molding requires a large capital outlay upfront to make the tooling, so would be un-affordable for a small batch. Would need about a thousand orders upfront. I thought I would float the idea anyway just in case to see interest levels because I think using injection molding would solve...

Technically yes, but only if you sacrifice 280 and 240mm radiator support, and that's the biggest selling point of this concept. There's not enough interest in this concept, so I won't be producing it. I am working on a new idea. Please comment what you'd like to see in a new case! Still looks...

Concept Circle CORE - 280mm rad, 3-slot GPU, 78mm CPU height, mesh panels, 13.7L ITX

Thank you @WinterCharm! Yeah it was a bit rough to be honest. The truth is I was pretty inexperienced when I created the feature list for Circle Pro. I'd only made one case up to that point, and I was being too much of a perfectionist about the specifications. A full-length gpu meant I couldn't...

Boom. Semi-transparent black PC is definitely an interesting look. I gotta say though, it probably looks even better in frosted white.

    Prototype Horizontal Case Concept

Nice. I like the perforated timber panel, the bend radii, the white powder coat and the inlaid perforated mesh. Certainly more efficient than lasering into a single shell piece. How are you holding the mesh in place?

Concept Circle CORE - 280mm rad, 3-slot GPU, 78mm CPU height, mesh panels, 13.7L ITX

The goal is to make it affordable. I don't want to promise a price and get it wrong at this stage. The idea behind the scooped shapes is actually strength. Injection moulding opens up a world of three dimensionality to a panel that is not easy with metal. The more compound shapes we can fit...

Concept Circle CORE - 280mm rad, 3-slot GPU, 78mm CPU height, mesh panels, 13.7L ITX

There is approximately 15mm between the face of the 3-slot reference model I have and the panel. This dimension isn't defined by the radiator width. You're right in that it's defined by tolerances on the pump side and the GPU side. We can easily increase the width of the case to accommodate an...

Concept Circle CORE - 280mm rad, 3-slot GPU, 78mm CPU height, mesh panels, 13.7L ITX

The design would currently support a 280 rad up to 148mm wide. Could widen the case slightly to accommodate 153mm. Switching to a pigtail style power cord would not give enough space, no. The 280 in the top is a tight squeeze as it is. There's also the mobo tray bracket which prevents having a...

Completed Circle Pro - Solid Alu CNCed mini-itx case - 240mm liquid cooling

Thanks guys. I haven't given up. But I don't think the answer is just better marketing in the case of Circle Pro. Yes, we probably could have reached the required funding, but probably not by a landslide. There are product and price issues at play as well. Ideally, I want to nail the product...

Completed Circle Pro - Solid Alu CNCed mini-itx case - 240mm liquid cooling

We were putting the money in ourselves to get small batches made, with a larger batch guarantee made with our manufacturing partner. Benefits of this included working out problems batch to batch instead of shipping out many units with the same issues. Also meant we only shipped stock we had on...

Completed Circle Pro - Solid Alu CNCed mini-itx case - 240mm liquid cooling

Each case would cost $1500-2000 each. Not even kidding. That's why the engineers who have said they're amazed we got the price this low already are correct. We've completely sold out of these - only a couple more exist. I have a few spares in my personal inventory, but that's it. They cost the...
