Hello Fellow SFF Builders and Creators,
since the GPUs increased in size over the years i would be happy to hear about a potential update on a new NCase M1 Revision what is a bit wider in terms of GPU support.
Currently only NVidia cards with reference pcb (112mm height) and Founders Edition...
Hi all,
did someone managed to build an Iceman and external radiator combo for the Ncase?
Currently i have an NCAse with Iceman DDC and the usual dual-rad (bottom ultra thin, and side) combo.
Since i am having a RTX-3090 i am kind of worried regarding to temperatures in SUMMER TIME!
My...
only the NVidia Reference PCB Cards - with their waterblocks - and the nvidia founders edition will fit.
the AMD reference pcb - including the waterblock will slightly to big to close the sidepanel.
If you can find a waterblock for AMD with the terminal on the top or end of the card - this...
Was anyone able to install a RX 6800/6900XT with a waterblock?
I am just curious. For me it looks like AMD cards are not possible to watercool inside the NCase M1. Since even only NVidia cards with reference design (112mm) or founders edition with waterblock will fit inside the NCase.
Do you...
Does anyone have am AMD RX6800 XT or 6900XT watercooled in the ncase m1?
After doing some research it seems to me that only reference PCB cards of RTX 3080/3090 have such an small waterblock to fit in the ncase. (And the Nvidia FE)
Do you agree?
I am expecting my RX 6900XT (Reference PCB) in...
so this would mean that the Palit 3080 Gaming Pro and the Palit 3090 Gaming Pro will also fit in the case -without any mods and WITH fron panel i/o?
all three cards have dimensions of: 294x112x60mm
@Necere I would really love to see an aditional colum in the compatibility table for "fits deshrouded" - with 15mm or with 25mm fans underneath.
Since deshrouding is one of the greatest things to do with our NCase.
@rdwiz A lot of solutions for your problem:
1. you can use Y-Cable adapters to put 2 fans on each of the 3 fan slots on the mainboard => 6 Fans.
2. of course you can also add more than 2 fans by using tripple-split-adapters for 3 fans (the mainboard should still deliver enough power)
3...
Well good luck.
I had troubles with my project because in the end everything was to too tight - but mainly the GPU paired with the GPU-waterblock was to wide to fit the NCase ? ? ? ? - finally i had to drop my custom build and switch to an air-only-build.
I still will try another attempt...
Originally I wanted to do a dual radiator (2x 240) custom loop. But i hat to switch to an air cooled solution because my GPU (Gainward RTX 2070Super) was too wide with the waterblock for the Ncase. ?
Yesterday i've finalized my air-only Ncase build - and honestly I don't see any big benefits...
@Kitsune
Could you please name the exact type of fitting you are using? They look very slim.
The tubes are the EK ZMT 16/10 ?
Unfortunately i had to stop my project, my graphics card (Gainward RTX 2070Super Phantom GS) was to wide with the mounted waterblock from alphacool (Eisblock GPX-N...
Hello all,
finally i have started yesterday to move all my components (and swap some of them with smaller versions) from by BIG ATX Case to my new NCAse M1.
Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 3700X
CPU Waterblock: Alphacool Iceblock XPX
Mainboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-i Gaming
Storage: 2x M.2 NVME + 2x Sata...
