Intel Arc A380 Listed on newegg.com

Intel’s controversial new Arc GPU family has made it’s first appearance on an e-tailer’s listings in the form of the ASRock Challenger Arc A380 6GB. The card has been listed on newegg.com at a price of US$139.99 with touted availability of 22 August.

As noted by Gamer’s Nexus and other sources, performance of the GPU seesaws between challenging the AMD RX6500XT in some game titles, all while being handed a solid beating by the RX6400 in others.

The ASRock Challenger Arc A380 6GB GDDR6 itself features a 2250MHz core clock, 1 x HDMI 2.0b and 3 x DisplayPort 2.0 ports, and runs on PCIe 4.0. This SFF dimensioned card runs power from an 8 pin power connector, from what we can find via Google. Interestingly though, the Arc A380 reference TDP is 75w – which should be able to be powered by the PCIe slot itself.

As always, I’d recommend waiting for more reviews and more stable drivers before considering purchasing any new generation product!

Intel chip specs are here, ASRock’s product page is here.
