Congrats Kyle…you broke me with this headline.

Kyle of Bitwit fame has put together a SFF system with the Ryzen 5600 and PNY RTX 3060 GPU. It’s an…uh….interesting video to watch. Check it out below and give him a subscribe.

…good luck. Seriously though Kyle, it’s time to lay off the energy drinks a bit.

I'm surprised how well his 3060 undervolted.

The build is not silent though. This venting pattern is horrible at any RPM... the only thing more annoying that I own is the same FlexGURU PRO 500W (without the Noctua fan swap).

(Even at idle).

The case is good as a testbench because the front and sides can be removed without it loosing rigidity. And also has good value despite the bad venting pattern. Mine was just 60€ with shipping and PCIE3 riser!

Because the side panels are flat they could be replaced more easily. The front panel would need a little more effort but is doable too. If you replace the front panel you can also incorporate an exhaust for the graphics card.

I was surprised by the component choice - three year old GPU and mobo, two year old CPU and a non modular Flex PSU.

I can pretty much guarantee it's what he had on hand, and likely couldn't get more modern samples. That said...

I built the Densium 4 with a 5600X because it was only $110, and I already I had 32GB of DDR4. I also used the SilverStone non-modular PSU for mine because it's what I had on hand. I would have loved to have build it fully modular with a more modern CPU, but I couldn't afford to spend that type of cash on what, for me, is a system that's going to spend most of its life plugged into a classic CRT monitor and playing games and emulators at low resolutions. No manufacture would sponsor the type of build I'm doing unless my name was Linus.

No, I was wondering out loud if he wasn't being furnished with review samples, after publicly stating he was moving away from the scene for an undetermined period of time.

He could still jump into the review cycle without issue, and I wouldn't be surprised if he has some gear without asking.
