Biostar unveils the Racing X370-GTN ITX motherboard

Based on AMD’s new AM4 platform, Biostar has officially unveiled the Racing X370-GTN ITX motherboard. This marks the first showing of an ITX board for the new AM4 chipset and we’re thrilled to see it support the x370 chipset over the inferior x300 ITX chipset.

The specifications were originally shared with us by community member MarcParis in the INCOMING AM4 MINI ITX!! thread, but today user cadiguno has shared with us official screenshots of the motherboard from TechPowerUP.

This board uses a 24-pin ATX +4 pin CPU power connector and a 7-Phase VRM to provide stable power to the processor. To be expected, the board only has 2x DDR4 DIMM slots with support for up to 32GB of DDR4-2667 (at time of writing). On the backside of the motherboard is a 32 Gb/s M.2 slot but on the front are 4x 6 Gb/s SATA ports. The motherboard has a single PCIe 16x slot but an odd omission is the lack of onboard WIFI.
