Mostly driving my feet, I only use my car when absolutly needed. I don't mind walking for an hour, even when it is cold.

My car is a 13 years old Renault Megane II 1.6 16V (110HP) Luxe Privilège:

(pic is for show only, not mine actually)

It only has 100.000 Km, driving less than 8000 Km a year and most of it is during summer vacations.

I need to get on your level with walking. XD I am looking for a car but that is due to heavy snow from living near the water.

Does Chengdu Metro Line 1 count as my daily driver? My last car was a 1998 Volvo S70 2.4T but I sold it in 2013 and have been carless sense.
I use public transit most days as well. Otherwise I either get a ride or take a taxi or Uber X.

Damn, you're not messing around. Love the license plate :D

I don't think I could ever mod a car that bad. Not that I wouldn't want to, but if you just crash once, there's so much more lost than just money.

Here's my primary means of locomotion:

That would be a 2015 Nike Dual Fusion, the TR 6 model. It's my daily driver so definitely showing some signs of wear, but the handling (especially at high speeds and in wet conditions) is excellent. I wanted it in black, but the salesman persuaded me to go with a Slate Grey that looks pretty decent.

One complaint - the dual-density soft-core sole suspension system does not soften a ride across bumpy terrain; I actually injured my foot some months ago due to this. I also find the material selection to be a bit stuffy on the interior. But at just six bills (Hamiltons, natch) the value's pretty unbeatable.

Argh you people and your metropolitan lifestyle ! Even though I love driving cars, I would love to scrap that cost from my life if I could. But my job requires me to be in one of our dozen sites in a radius of about 50km

Nice VW Golf there @3lfk1ng !

CG125, pretty much Generic Bike. Hilariously reliable (I suspect the only thing that would prevent it starting would be to remove the engine), but it can only just barely keep up with modern traffic. Will be replaced once I can get a garage sorted, probably with a shiny new VFR800.

The only motorized vehicle I own is a tan 2009 Toyota Corolla with a missing hubcap (stolen during my tenure in ghetto retail, not replaced because it helps the vehicle blend in the poor neighborhoods that I frequent). Might post pictures later but it looks just like every other 10th generation Corolla built on the E140/150 platform.

Yes, it's boring. The Nissan ZX70 I sometimes operate feels livelier. But to me, the short wheelbase and fuel economy are worth it.

Despite being built during a time when Toyota stopped caring about QA due to the fall of the Big Four, it's put up with my abuse reasonably well. Its age is starting to show though. Radiator hoses are soon to be EOSL and the factory water pump decided to pump water somewhere else (which took out the alternator too).

Time to start looking for an upgrade...

I currently drive a 2014 RAV4 that my dad has helped me tremendously with. At this point it's pretty much paid off, just a few more months.

I'm considering trading it for a hybrid--I'd like to get an electric vehicle, but I do lots of long-range driving for work and (South) Louisiana does not have a very well established grid for recharging. For a little while I was considering getting an electric motorcycle, but I enjoy too much the creature comforts of enclosed vehicles.

I need to do a lot more homework, but I'm also considering 'thrifting' an old van-style vehicle and tricking it out into a camper. Possibly to live the van dwelling lifestyle, but more likely to just use as a mobile vacation base. Of course, my idea of 'tricking it out' includes unlimited access to reliable network data and a computer system that's able to be reliably run off of solar.

Currently enjoying a Lexus GS 350.

This is an F-Sport model. So it comes from the factory with forged rims and big brake kit. Unique options on this one include heads up display, dynamic rear wheel steering, and - my favorite - the Mark Levinson audio package which has got to be one of the best 17 speaker audio systems I've ever experienced. Audio bliss.

Modification include a slim JL subwoofer self-install.

The install has a few personal touches. First is a hidden remote-level knob for fine-tuned adjustments

The other is universal wiring "quick disconnects" so the sub can be quickly pulled from trunk for more room.

Other things include custom AEM air intake, wider tires, and some custom courtesy light projectors. Everything was self-designed and installed.

Next mods will be smart phone mirroring system and possibly some caliper paint. It's not a track car, but it always makes me smile. Wonderful build quality. Owned it two years and it's been trouble free, low maintenance. It is smooth and powerful on the highways and - in a very un-lexus like way - it is nimble, fun, and balanced in the twisties.

Very nice car, I don't see these that often in my part of the world (usualy IS-series) mostly due to the German premium car dominance.

Yeah, the larger saloons fare better in the states.

[/OPINION] Yes, I too think the Germans have the edge in premium car category. But these new Lexus are making them sweat. It's not sexy to talk about, but the 250% higher maintenance cost of German badges make the Japanese badges the responsible choice. Of course, that kinda talk has no place in a car thread![/OPINION]

@sergiiua Love the 86! What a fun car!
