I'm trying to do a tablet mini pc with a mini itx motherboard (acer veriton 4670gt : sodimm ram, 10/11th gen intel cpu, pcie express on the edge on the mb,wifi, 2 m2 slots etc).
I removed the mb from the acer case and i added a dell rx6500 low profile single slot gpu (it's a 6500m with a pcie). CPU + GPU combined : 85w.
I will probably put a 14" 16/10 screen on it because it fits the dimensions (external monitor then remove the case and keep the electronics in order to use usb/c to displayport cable) and will see how to do best with the connectors, and try to add a battery also if it fits + printed case.
But now i'm focused about the height, i'm struggling to find a smaller heatsink than the original because it's a 3 screw triangle fixation (like the hp and lenovo mini pc). I also wanted to remove the rj45/usb combo ports (i will save 2/3mm at least) but i don't know how to do it properly or if it's possible at all. Trying to have sub 3cm at the end.
