Hi everyone, I'm sorry if a similar thread had been posted. I'm planning for an ITX build with ultra-portable like T1 or Sliger 560. I'll most likely bring it with me to work and back home at night. I have many questions but the following are my main concern right now. Side notes that I'm not in a hurry, I can wait for a month or 2 (Black Friday deals for cheaper parts) so I can wait for T1 if needed to.
Shared parts:
- CPU: thinking about either Ryzen 7 3700X/3800X or i5 10600K or i7 9700k (mainly gaming at 1080 with ultra settings, future proofing is preferred to utilize RTX 3080's features)
- X570 Strix or Z390/Z490 Unify
- GPU: RTX 3080 (still hasn't decided which one yet, waiting for more reviews)
- SFx PSU 750w
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200MHz CL16
Sliger 560:
- CPU cooler: Alpenfohn Black Ridge (replace the stock with Noctua 92mm fan)
- 2 x 120mm Noctua fans at the bottom for the exhaust to create negative pressure (mentioned by Optimum Tech)
FormD T1: There are 3 routes
Route 1: Flipped
- CPU cooler: Alpenfohn Black Ridge (replace the stock with Noctua 92mm fan)
- 2 x 120mm Noctua fans on top as exhaust
Route 2: Flipped
- CPU cooler: Corsair M22/H55
- 1 x 120mm Noctua fan
Route 3: Flipped
- I might go custom loop (replicate Optimum Tech's)
Concerns that need suggestions:
- How will Sliger 560 (Air cool only) compare to T1 (Air cool only)?
- Which CPU should I get if gaming is all I do and possibly future photo/video editing?
