Hello everybody !

I bought myself a Shuttle SZ170R8 V2 barebone and I going to put it under watercooling.

For the components:

- Barebonne: Shuttle SZ170R8 V2 (of curse)
- CPU: I5 6600k or I7 6700k depending on the budget
- GPU: GTX 1070 or an GTX 1080
- RAM: 4x4 GO (model according to the budget)
- SSD: Samsung SM961 256 GB or 512 GB

For the watercooling I planned:

- waterblock CPU + pump Alphacool Eisbaer (Solo) (link)
- Hardware Labs Black Ice Nemesis 80mm for the front and an Black Ice Nemesis 92mm for the back (link)
- two Arctic F9 PWM (link)
- four Arctic F8 PWM (link)

Oh wow, long time since I've seen a Shuttle and combined with those radiators I'm extra curious to see more !
A Shuttle SG33G5 was my first step into SFF and loved it !

That is such an awesome idea. I think it will be less than 70C, but i voted to wait for the benchmars.

Very curious to see the loop and temps.

I also planning to make a hole on the top for an Koolance 2x80mm fan shroud and install two fans on it.
So the fresh air is going to come to the front and behind while the heat is going to be expulsed to the top.

You can note that's a lot of fan but i don't care about the noise they can makes;).

I would say easily under 70C especially if you go with the 6600k and GTX 1070. I had that combo in my Ncase with a single 240mm Black Ice Nemesis GTS radiator and got max temps of 60C on an overclocked 6600k and 42C on the 1070. So with those thick rads you have in push/pull should be no problem.

I've never use such little radiator before but like you said, they're thick so i think i'm going to have something under 60C.

To begin with, i've got a new PSU. It's a Seasonic SS-500L1U server modular PSU :

I think Seasonic it's the only manufacturer who make modular 1U PSU so i can get rid of useless cable (molex, sata, floppy...) without cutting them. Also, this PSU look far more reliable than the stock one but i must do some modding to put it in the case.

I've got two different sleeve on the cables and the diameter is not the right one but i've putted them anyway:p.

As you can see, colors pass thru the sleeve but it's not a big deal in my opinion:\.

I've also got a new pump to help the Alphacool EisBaer Solo, it's a Laing DDC PWM pump and i've put a Alphacool DDC heatsink on it.

And with some sleeve on the cables:cool:...
