The PCIE cables would interfere. The HDPLEX 400 will allow you to run higher wattage CPUs or do overclocking but it is not going to allow for a GPU that has cables on the side. If we ever see a GPU with the power connector on the end, maybe...but I doubt it.I think it is realistic with a 65w CPU to see the HDPLEX powering a 1080ti, but it would be externally.
