Hi, not my first PC but my first SFFPC build, looking on feedback on the parts before pulling the trigger. Am from Singapore, so prices are rather overpriced for items like SSDs. The case (K55) have already been purchased. Thanks~

If you're going to be spending money on thermal paste, you should just go with the best stuff...either any one of the liquid metals or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. Otherwise, I would just use the paste that is included with the CPU cooler.

You don't need a 750W PSU, but if you plan on upgrading the processor or GPU later to high-end, power hungry components, it can be viewed as an investment for the future. You'd be fine with a 450W unit.

If you got identical M.2 drives, you can then consider RAID.

I'd hold out for the next-gen GPUs to come out, too, before buying one.

1. I was looking up thermail pastes and liquid metals and correct me if I'm wrong, but the copper of the axp-90 would react negatively to the liquid metal? As for thermal grizzly, does it require constant repasting?

2. The pricing difference between the SF600 and SF750 is 15USD here (21SGD) and 45USD(61SGD) when comparing the SF450. So I thought it was worth it when comparing the 600 and the 750. Would consider your advice on the 450w unit.

3. I am canabalising the card from another system. Had the card since the launch of the 2060s lineup.

Ah, that could be the case with an unplated copper heatsink...it's been a while since I've looked at that, but seems familiar. The Kryonaut is a standard thermal paste and I've been running it for years without changing it on my CPU.

It's up to you on how much you want to spend there. It won't make a difference in performance. The 450W could be slightly more efficient overall, but the headroom of the 750W may allow it to run without running it's fans, even under load.

3. I am canabalising the card from another system. Had the card since the launch of the 2060s lineup.

Okay, you just wouldn't want to go buy one now unless you needed a computer before next month.
