Hello

So I ordered today my NFC S4M for my first sff build

Here is the list of planned components
  1. Intel BX80684I78700 8th Gen Core i5-8400 Processor
  2. ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050ti Mini
  3. ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-I GAMING LGA1151 DDR4
  4. Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz
  5. Samsung 960 PRO Series - 512GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD
  6. Either Noctua Low-Profile Quiet CPU Cooler for Intel 115x Based Retail Cooling NH-L9
  7. Or Titan TTC-NC25/HS
  8. HDPLEX 400W HiFi DC-ATX / ATX Bracket with 7.4*5.0mm Adapter
  9. Genuine Dell 330-Watt AC Adapter
  10. SkyWire 24 pin ATX
  11. Noctua Adapters & Extensions, don't know which model and if needed or not
  12. Samsung 860 EVO series - 1TB
I will do more research and confirm the list above works together and I got everything I need to have it ready and running

I downgraded the 1080 mini to 1050ti and now replaced the gtx 1050ti to rtx 2070
And i7 8700 to i5 8400

Regards,
AQ

I'm curious to see what your power draw on that 330W brick is, if you trip OCP or similar. I'm working with the same case at the moment and don't plan to be brave enough to throw a 1080 in there.

You should be fine, a lot of people are running a 1080 off the same 330W dell brick and HDPLEX 400W combo that the Aoq1 is looking at using, myself included. Problems only seem to arise from fake 330W units.

I cannot stress enough how bad fake 330W units are. Seriously over half of my customer service complaints for the Dynamo Combo right now are coming from people buying and using shitty knock off bricks. Almost every one of them has proceeded to buy an authentic brick which magically solves their issues.

I ordered the 330w brick from dell

I am only concerned about the wiring if I have the right ones

I like it. What's your plan re. the 2 120mm fans?

I thought of having additional cooling with 1 more fan a 120mm other one is extra to test which is better, i dont really know what wiring I should get for it

I wouldn't bother with all the extra fans, one on the CPU cooler is sufficient.

The cables you need come with the HDPlex, though I'll add that I've found Josh's skywires are much better in terms of being the correct length for the S4 mini and a lot stiffer, thus easier to cable manage.

Where can I find them ?
