hi, a friend sent me this link of a rx6600 low profile single slot

in a post on twitter a person said its for industrial use, just to split various screens, perform worse than the rx6400 and its loud

the clock and tflops (float) are cut equal (by ~2,07), tdp of 132 to 50w, no power conector (youtube test rx6600 xfx limited to 50w)

but i cant find it anywhere, in the fsi page the sparkle tw is linked, i messaged them and no response till now, its too new for the market or just for industrial use

anyone have more info about that?

It's fascinating how many of these obscure cards there are in Asia.
Very unfortunate it's just not more common :(

Does anyway know that idea behind these things?
Is there such a big OEM market that it's worth the hassle (and money) to spin off their own designs etc?

As for that video, it does gives a great insight how much you pay for not always that much more performance, while adding a ton more power.
Especially the last few years, I have seen quite some GPU's that I would be happily running at half the power :)

The RX 6400 and 6500 dies don't support as many display outputs as the RX 6600 (2 vs 4 I think?) if there's enough surplus dies, this could be a viable alternative to a low profile nvidia card for professional use cases where you just need to drive a lot of screens. Looks expensive but compare it to a RTX A series pricing...

Now someone here, please buy one, shunt mod it and put a dual slot full copper block on it... 😁
