UPDATE
It seems that NVIDIA has already released a 375.63 driver. I've installed this now and will report back any issues.

WHQL certification was a heavily used argument in the Nvidia-AMD forum battles, it goes to show that it doesn't mean squat about driver quality.

I've never relied on WHQL for driver quality. It's basically the manufacturer sending a bunch of testing log files to MS who check it for crashes and bugs. Any manipulation of the logs would result in a false success

Or simply that "does it grey out start menu icons" is not part of the automated test suite.

Grey out.. and remove the one tile I was trying to move! To be honest, the video artifacts was the most annoying glitch I came across
