Welcome to the forum ! People have given Apple enough of flak for anything, but the one thing we can't blame them for is how capable they are with efficient volume of computers. I consider their Mac Pro 2013 (see my avatar pic) being their largest show off how they made a cylindrical case, with components placed in a triangle and made it all work.
Oh totally. I would be lying if I didn't admit I still keep my MBP 2019 16in for any use when I'm not editing for work! It's an impressive engineering feat to keep it all so quiet (AND PRETTY lol). I just was tired of having to completely rollback my OS when a new update did not provide the correct drivers for Premiere etc. Prefer my workstation to be consistent. Who knows what these new 32 core? chips will bring in 2021 for Apple though!
