Hi there,
I am ready to build my first sff pc.

My Dan A4 sfx v4 is sitting here wants to be filled with hardware.
Because I am new to the sff I would like to ask the pro‘s here about my planned shopping list.

Will this fit into the a4 and will it be a good performer?
Or is there something I should change?
  1. Gigabyte Aorus Pro AMD B450 So.AM4 Dual Channel DDR4 Mini-ITX Retail
  2. AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8x 3.60GHz So.AM4
  3. Corsair SF Series SF600 Modular 80+ Gold
  4. 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX LP DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit
  5. 500GB SanDisk Extreme PRO M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 3D-NAND TLC
  6. 8GB MSI GeForce RTX 2080 VENTUS 8G OC Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16 (Retail)
  7. Asetek 92-mm-AiO- 645LT
Thanks for your feedback!

Greetings Dirk

Thanks for the reply.
I thought it should be fitting looking at this post:

Is it 40mm or 45mm limit?

Which 2080 should I buy instead? Maybe the MSI GeForce RTX 2080 8GB AERO?

Anything else, except the gpu, to change?
Or is the rest ok?

Get one of these:

MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ventus 8G V2
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Windforce 8G
Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 2080 AMP Maxx
Gainward GeForce RTX 2080 Phoenix
EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC Gaming

If you like to save money get the Noctua L9a AM4 and 3D print the fan duct from dan-cases.com FAQ section. I use these heatsink on my 3700X.

Thanks for the 2080 models list. Will try to get one of these.

So there is no need for the AiO with the 3700X ?
The 3D printed fan duct is for what purpose? Better cooling performance?
What’s about the loudness? Better with the AiO or the Noctua L9a AM4?

The fan reduce recycling hot air.
I think the Asetek will be more silent, but only under load.

Dan, what kind of screws do I have to use with the fan duct? Do i screw it directly on the side panel? Sorry for the dumb question

I think I can answer this question...no dumb question. I had also to google it :)

You screw it onto the fan.
