Im more than rusty with this, but tonight im bulding a gaming pc for the brother and i came to a mind block.
The fans I use are 3 and 4 pin noctuas and i need to connect them to the psu>at max speed all the time (no space on the motherboard left)
If im not mistaking i need to connect the fan cable to the provided adaptor by noctua>>
and connect that to the molex (which is a 3x molex on one cable) >>
And that goes to the power supply. Is that all good guys??
If everything is ok up to this moment guys,my next problem is that my new power suply (a seasonic prime 850w titanium) only gave me 1 of these 3x molex to psu cables and i have more fans!!
I have a unused cable set from a old 2012 corsair hx1050 that has the same cable. Is it ok for me to grab it and use it on the seasonic psu or is it not recommended to do this?
Im itching, but i will wait as i dont want to fry a 3k pc.
Or maybe I have to connect them like this on the existing cable?
