Production of the cases is going well, so I want to share the progress and some impressions of what I'm doing.
Most of the parts have been printed by now. It's a slow process, but the printer requires little attention while it's printing. Here's for a fun fact: did you know it takes more than 24 hours of printing a single case?! That's 15 hours for the shell, 7 hours for the bottom and 3 hours for the top.
The brass baseplates have arrived a couple of days ago and I'm halfway countersinking and threading the holes. The case feet also require some cutting, and that's completely done.
The power buttons and LEDs have all been soldered and are ready to be put in the cases. The USB cables, risers and screws have arrived, so that means I have everything ready to be put inside the cases.
As for the accessories, the double fans have been soldered and the heatsinks have arrived. I still have to cut out parts of the heatsinks to allow for clearance of the cards components.
Here are some pictures of all the work that is being done at the moment. Enjoy!
