After encountering financial difficulties, the Swedish company has stated that its production for the Ghost R1 is about to launch.

This is an mITX case supporting up to 4 slots / 348 mm GPUs.

The price is set to be 200€ for early bird orders and 240€ afterwards.

Orders are anticipated to start by the end of May 2024, with deliveries taking place in September or October of this year.

Designed and manufactured in Sweden, the Ghost R1 will sport a classic reference-layout design (R for reference) and will fit Noctua (next-gen) NH-D15 or CPU coolers up to 165mm along with a 4-slotter GPU. Next to big air-cooling, the Ghost R1 can fit a chonker 280 rad (up to 60mm thickness) or full custom loop liquid-cooling with dual 240/280 rads.

Wrapped in a Scandinavian minimalistic and refined package, this sub-18 liter premium offering effortlessly blends into any environment, while still being smaller and visually more compact than the NR200.

Edit : it's an mITX and mDTX case - sadly, mATX is no longer supported.

Looks like reviewers have their hands on Ghost R1 units now - Machines & More just showed it in their D15 G2 review and indicated that a full Ghost R1 review was coming soon.

How will this case compare to the new NCASE M2 beyond the immediately obvious increased case width / air cooler height compatibility (165 on R1 vs 145 on M2)?
