Closed Looking for a Gigabyte mini GPU (1080/ 2070)

Hi all,
I have recently obtained a gigabyte gaming box without the GPU ( removed by the seller to use in a desktop build)

The box, originally, hosted a gtx 1070 but from what I gathered I can swap cards with no issue as long as it fits in the gaming box ( so gigabyte mini cards or cards which have been removed from gigabyte aorus gaming box). Of course if you know, from experience, that other cards will fit and work well with this setup, please let me know!

For that I am looking to buy one of them mini cards to hook it up and get me some of that egpu action.

My price range is as follow:
~$300 shipped for gigabyte 1080 mini
~$400 shipped for gigabyte 2070 mini

These prices are based on sales for the above mentioned GPUs in r/hardwareSwap, nevertheless, if you feel the urge to go lower, go for it.
