Is there a way to super-unwatch a thread?

So I'm using the "New posts" Section to see if any new Threads have been made and to keep track of what I've read and what I didn't.

But, we're now starting to have threads in the Off-Topic section that I have no interest in and know for sure that I will never read. Is there a way to remove a thread permanently from the "New Posts" section so it will never show up there again?

Looks like that is possible. I'm planning some maintenance on the forum Saturday so I'll implement it then.

Implemented. Look for a "Ignore Thread" link at the top of the thread.
