According to THIS from wccftech, it sounds like Intel might be releasing a refresh to their x299 CPUs as well as new motherboards... Its not really clear what is being refreshed though. Maybe only a 22 core is being added and the current ones that are out there are remaining the same?
I wonder if ASRock is going to do a refresh of their X299E itx board for this - I have been ready to build a new machine from the ground up in SFF and was going to go with that board and the 7940X 64gb of ram and whatever new chip nvidia puts out in July. Now that im seeing this I think im gonna wait to see what unfolds... im interested in hearing moarrr about this news. Was hoping more specifics was going to come out about it during computex
