There is undervolting in hex under p state control. I think someone else mentioned the lowest setting is 1.2 or something. I'm not at home to see ATM.
Yep, the one and only P-state. Tried it, the lowest it can go is 1.05V, lame. Obviously, having only one power state is useless...

Does your build take a long time to POST? Mine is taking around 20 seconds.

Hmmm I just counted and it feels like mine takes about 5-10s from when I push the power button on my PC to hitting the windows login screen . I haven't changed any settings in bios aside from fan speed.

I too have a slow post on my MSI Mortar. Windows loads very quickly once the bios splash screen comes up. However I flashed to the next newest bios and the post time was much improved. Sadly this was at the cost of stability and ram speeds for me. So I flashed back to the rock stable 1.1 bios and 2933 ram speeds and am living with the slow post. My takeaway is that bios revisions may bring the post time down some since I've seen it. Now we just need a snappy boot and those 3200 ram speeds all together... Slow post may be due to ram training with the memory controller on the CPU getting things right with the bios/ram timings I read somewhere. Sorry no source link! At work on my phone posting this.

A fresh update regarding the Gigabyte board, looks like it's coming end of June.

So as it stands, seems like late June/ early July is a perfect time to build a tiny mITX AM4 build, as boards from Asrock and Gigabyte should be already out everywhere by that time, and Noctua will have the nh-l9a SE-AM4 out too for those building in a SG13, for instance.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Biostar boards but since I'm waiting for that Noctua cooler, I might as well wait for the Gigabyte or ASrock boards, if only for quality, audio and built in Wi-fi.

Where did you see the info about the l9a am4 bracket? Last I heard they weren't going to support am4?

FYI, My B350GTN takes ~12.5s from the moment power button is pressed to the GRUB menu. When using "Fast boot" options (SATA devices only & USB without the storage init settings) it takes ~9.5s.

Its one decent review actually. ...

I couldn't understand the point of testing the boards's power by testing his OC on a Ryzen 5 chip, as there are already chips out there that will push the board's electrics more than that in form of the Ryzen 7. I wouldn't think the 4-pin power connector or no-name VRMs would not be good enough for a short term Ryzen 5 OC test. It doesn't prove a thing, actually, I'm still afraid that an OC'd 1700/1800X, or one of future Ryzens would blow the board up. However, it's good to see that the board is pretty much the same as the ATX Biostars and RAMs go 3200mhz.

I would say it's a great review mostly because it's out so fast and shows that the board works :-D
