How much clearce (Height wise) does a GPU need??

With the connectors for power plugged in also?? I just looked at the Element Q/Qi it is 5.12 tall... Would a reg. height GPU fit (with power plugs in)? Man, so sad only 1 slot in the cases ...

These days it is anyone's guess. Cards are super wide and don't stop growing, and several manufacturers don't even care about thickness. I just had to bail on a customer who wanted Crossfire Fury Xs from a third party, but the cards were so wide they wouldn't fit in his motherboard choice! the fans clipped the PCB on the back. :|

Well 5.12 tall would do it right? Why can't you get a nice small case like the Element Q with 2 slots & have a nice small game PC... How much does Protocase charge?

I'd be shocked if your design you sent to protocase cost less than $500 bucks for a prototype.

If you like the Element Q why not look at a SGXX?

Would a box with cut out be good, or would I have to put every piece in? In other word I know the Dems. I want, but the corect way to do a case, I have no idea... They have some alright looking HTPCs, but no ODD & the Ncase is awsome, but the ODD slot is on top...
