Excited to join this community. Lots to learn here.
I am currently working on setting up a home server with redundancy and high availability, albeit on a tight budget. Key concentrations at the moment are :

1. Find or build a minimal disk less persistent linux server os bsed on debian, like a direct minimal fork of official debain.
2. A 20V 20A DC- UPS. Planning to use LTC4412 to switch between 20VC from laptop power brick and 6S LifeP04 battery pack. Need a lot of help with the execution of this project.
