UPDATE: after reading some replies I think I'm going to try to keep the mATX form but find something smaller than a SG10 (no GPU)

------------------------------------------------

I have a close to no compromises SG10 mATX build and I want to build something smaller. This case is AMAZING and it's unbelievable how much it can hold, I want to find the mini ITX equivalent an even smaller mATX case.

Parts I want to keep:
  • CPU: 6700k
  • Motherboard: mATX
  • PSU: SeaSonic SSR-750RM (L 160mm x W 150mm x H 86mm)
  • Storage: x1 2.5" SATA 3 SSD | x1 3.5" 2TB HDD (I could switch to another 2.5" drive if necessary)
Parts I plan on buying:
  • CPU Cooler: air (I don't want a WC), probably a Noctua NH-U12S if I can get away with it. I imagine a NH-D15S wouldn't fit anywhere and it's expensive too
  • GPU: I won't add a GPU, it's APU focused (I'll switch to AMD once 7nm is out)

So, is there anything smaller than a SG10 since I won't need a GPU slot anymore?

SG13 allows a max length of 150mm for the PSU. In fact, they recommend 140mm only. But your current one is 160mm. So, this is not good.

Unfortunately you cannot import. Or else, NCase M1 is a good choice. 12.6L and receives ATX PSU up to 160mm length.

Actually you can fit a 180mm PSU in sg13 if U don't use the hard drive bay. There is a spot for a 2.5" drive without a bay too. So as long as you only have a single 2.5" you can use your existing psu

If you are using an APU I suggest getting something <5L like InWin chopin which comes with a PSU. For $100 ish

Tiny psu and spot for one or two ssds from memory

Yeah there's even a build on PPP using this exact idea.

I can't find that case here, unfortunately. But the more we talk about Mini ITX the more I realize I'll probably have to use another PSU, very sad since I love my current one. Thanks!

I know the feeling I have 2 x really nice Seasonic ATX PSUs sat in the garage, one nearly new, both full modular one fanless one "semi" fanless, but no good for ITX..... sacrificing these is part of the ITX tax we have to pay!

Thanks for the replies! I have updated the thread. I'm giving up on the whole Mini ITX idea since the parts selection is so limited in my country (and very expensive).
