Hi, I'm working on a new custom SFF gaming case design. I've built a few custom SFF cases in my time, a good time back now, however I've never dabbled with flexible PCIE risers. I'm looking to create a unique sub 6L sandwich case layout where the psu sits compartmentalised between the ITX MB and the back to back vertical ITX GPU. I am looking to use solely M.2 drives so will have one fitted on the back of the MB.
Am I best routing the riser cable behind the MB (with M.2 fitted) or behind the GPU? There won't be any case fans so just thinking what issues there may be for heat on the riser cable. I would presume the shielding on the cable would prevent interferance in either case?
Thanks.
