Hi
I'm interested in getting the Dynamo.
My question is that with this combo does it provide 360+160= 520 capability?
Also do I still need am external power brick? Which brick would you recommend as dell only goes up to 330w?
And is there anyway to skip the external power brick?

Thanks a lot!

Yes it does provided you have an AC-DC brick/converter than can produce 520W or more of DC power.

You can hook the Dynamo 360 up to the HDPlex 300W AC-DC and the Dynamo Mini up to an HDPlex 160W AC-DC and put both internally if you'd like for a 460W solution. I am currently working on a merging unit that would let you use two 300W AC-DC units together to power the whole thing as well.

Hi

I'm new to SFF power supplies. I recently purchased the Dynamo 360 + Mini160 kit and was wondering if I can run a single dell 330W (7.4mmx5.0mm) brick adaptor straight from the Dynamo 360 while the Minii 160 is connected to it? What type of wattage output can i expect from this setup?

Thanks in advance

The wattage is determined by the AC-DC brick, so the max wattage of your system will be 330W. With respect to how to wire, you are correct in that you would run the AC-DC unit into the Dynamo 360's DC-IN header and then attach the Dynamo Mini to the Dynamo 360s DC-OUT header.

Thank you for the quick clarification =)

Sorry last question. Does the combo kit come with two sets of cables one for each device?

Thanks again
