dc input alternative cable/adapter like screw-on barrel plug socket

hello,

i decide to build using dynamo mini. ordered it yesterday from sfflab.

it would be a modern itx system with half height gpu.

my concern is that HDPLEX-160W-DC-ATX-new-barrel-jack.jpg dc input that i don't have any use for.

i want to get barrel plug to get a variety of cases compatible with it instead of just few.

would something like this:

work with dynamo mini? maybe there is other good alternatives?

i don't mind socket itself (i will just buy a different PSU, no problem) but the way it mounts.
