Hi guys!

After watching tons of videos on Youtube i've decide to build my own A4-SFX as well, but when it comes to specs it confuse me a lot because the heat could make do serious problem.

For now i have 2 sets of builds in mind, just want to know which one is more preferable.

First set:

Second set:

And last question was, Is it necessary to utilize 645LT for 9600K?

@racker32

I have a similar setup to your first one although traded up my 2060 to a 2080. I've yet to add it to a Dan Case as I am waiting for the new v4 to arrive.

There is a lot you can do to limit thermals IF NEEDED, and those are discussed on Dan's site under tutorials here >> https://www.dan-cases.com/dana4_faq.html

I've already undervolted my 9600k by 0.4v, which lowered Prime95 runs by ~10°C. You can add a fan shroud, which should help, but your ram (like mine) would hit the shroud. Luckily, there is a forum user who has modified the fan shroud to not hit the ram modules and that should help too and is linked here >> https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/dan-a4-sfx.252/post-145472

Much appreciate mate!!

For now i will go for 9600K, since a little bit of undervolt does not hurt a lot, and i will keep on watching the thread for taller ram fitment shroud comes up.

Many many thanks!
