Aggregating "Like"-Notifications?

When someone posts on a thread that I watch, it says:

<USER> replied to the thread <THREAD>. There may be more posts after this.

So if then more people reply to that same thread I don't get a notification for each one of them until I read them.

But if someone likes one of my posts, I get a separate notification for every single like (*humble brag*).

Is there a way to aggregate that into one notification? Or maybe just let it say something along the lines of:

<USER> and maybe others liked your post in the thread <THREAD>.

That's something I've thought of. I ended up just turning off like notifications because I get so many #humblestbrag

It's something we'll look into when we update to XF 2.0 since it doesn't seem like there's a good way to do it now.

XF 2.0 is hopefully releasing by Q3 but it's still in active development. Then we need to wait for the add-ons and themes we rely on to be updated.

But we'll be switching as soon as we can, XF2 has some much needed improvements that I want.

Ok, great! Maybe, if they have an issue tracker, check whether a report for this already exists or whether you can add one. No need to get an add-on if it will be built into it natively.

first world modder/builder problems.

But yeah likes do sometimes clutter up the notifications after a good day of posting. Ive had it happen when im being informative.
